The audio programs: Brain Song vs. Genius Song vs. Genius Switch

All three use brainwave entrainment, the idea that rhythmic sound can nudge your brain into a particular state. It’s a real, studied phenomenon, and some studies show short-term effects on relaxation or attention. But none of these three products has been independently tested in a clinical trial, and claims about raising intelligence, luck or wealth aren’t supported.

  • The Brain Song is pitched at memory, built around gamma frequencies and BDNF, a real brain protein linked to learning. It has the longest advertised refund window.
  • The Genius Song (also sold as Genius Wave) is pitched at focus and creativity, with the shortest sessions. Its creator credentials appear to be a pen name.
  • The Genius Switch uses 40 Hz binaural beats, a frequency with genuine research interest, and has the longest sessions, about 30 minutes.

Bottom line: if you already enjoy focus or meditation audio, any of the three is a low-cost experiment. Pick by session length, and buy only one: they’re more alike than different.

The supplement: Phytomem One

Phytomem One takes a different route: ten plant ingredients including saffron, berberine, cinnamon and banaba. Several are studied mainly for blood sugar and metabolism, on the theory that better glucose control supports brain health. Saffron has some small studies on mood and cognition.

Important: berberine, cinnamon and banaba can lower blood sugar, so anyone on diabetes medication should talk to a doctor first.

Which should you choose?

  • You want a short, no-pill daily habit: The Genius Song.
  • Memory is your main concern and you want the longest refund window: The Brain Song.
  • You already use binaural beats for study or work: The Genius Switch.
  • You prefer a supplement and don’t take blood sugar medication: Phytomem One.

What actually helps memory

Whatever you try, the habits with the strongest evidence for memory and focus are regular exercise, enough sleep, staying socially and mentally active, and managing blood pressure and blood sugar. Noticeable memory changes should always be checked by a doctor.
